On May 6, instead of our usual First Saturday Walk & Talk event, we are joining up with Friends of the Petaluma River for their annual Spring Clean Up Day for the Petaluma River. This year they are targeting 15(!) different locations along the river and its tributaries, including Steamer Landing and Petaluma River Park. 

Petaluma River Park is whole-heartedly joining the effort this year and will be participating in this event in lieu of our usual First Saturday Walk & Talk. Our regular First Saturday Walk program will resume June 3. 

All volunteers are invited to stay for an (always awesome) BBQ lunch at the The David Yearsley River Heritage Center.

Parking: The entrance to Petaluma River Park is located at 300 Copeland Street, off of D Street, between Petaluma Boulevard and Lakeville.

¡Limpieza del río!

El 6 de mayo, en lugar de nuestro evento habitual del primer sábado del mes “Walk & Talk”, nos uniremos y trabajaremos junto a la organización “Friends of the Petaluma River” (Amigos del Río Petaluma) para su Día Anual de Limpieza de Primavera del Río Petaluma. Este año están apuntando a demarcar 15 ubicaciones diferentes a lo largo del río y sus afluentes, incluyendo Steamer Landing y Petaluma River Park. 

Petaluma River Park se está uniendo de todo corazón al esfuerzo de este año y participará en este evento en lugar de nuestro habitual primer sábado del mes “Walk & Talk”. Nuestro programa regular del primer sábado del mes “Walk & Talk” se reanudará el 3 de junio.

Luego de esto, todos los voluntarios están invitados(as) a quedarse para un (siempre increíble) almuerzo de barbacoa en The David Yearsley River Heritage Center.

Estacionamiento: La entrada a Petaluma River Park está ubicada en 300 Copeland Street, saliendo de D Street, entre Petaluma Boulevard y Lakeville.
